Service Plan Overview
Advatronix® provides one year (365 days) of support service starting from the date the order is placed to assist users in the event of faulty workmanship, components, and certain errors. In the event that an error or fault cannot be resolved and the user has taken reasonable efforts to correct the problem, including but not limited to completing any recommended troubleshooting steps detailed in the product material or at www.Advatronix®.com, Advatronix® will service the device by exercising its best efforts to remedy the issue. Advatronix® will exercise its sole discretion regarding repair or replacement of component(s) or the entire device. The terms detailing the warranty, and service plan, as well as your obligations and responsibilities, are detailed below. Advatronix® reserves the right to amend any part(s) of this document without prior notice. The latest version of this document can be found online at www.Advatronix®.com
i. “Advatronix®”, “We”, “us” and/or “our” means Advatronix® Systems, LLC.
ii. “You” or “your” means the individual or entity named on the invoice.
iii. “Product” means Advatronix®-branded hardware product.
The warranty detailed in this document only applies to Advatronix®-branded hardware products sold or leased by Advatronix® Systems, LLC. Any non Advatronix®-branded components, software, or services are provided “as-is” and are not covered by this warranty. Non-Advatronix® manufacturers and suppliers may provide their own warranty directly.
Advatronix® warranties that Advatronix®-branded hardware products are free from defects in materials, components, and workmanship under normal use within the Limited Warranty Period which is 365 days, starting on the date Advatronix® receives your order. Advatronix® will exercise its sole discretion regarding repair or replacement of components within the product or the entire device. All components or parts removed under such repair or replacement become the property of Advatronix®. Advatronix® will determine what is deemed an effective repair. In the event of recurring hardware failure, Advatronix® may provide you with a refund of the purchase price instead of a replacement product. Advatronix® may replace or repair parts with new or previously used components with equivalent performance and reliability. Replacement parts are covered under this warranty until the Limited Warranty Period expires.
The product is only covered under the Limited Warranty providing the problem/defect to be repaired is found by Advatronix® to not have been caused directly or indirectly by the user. If the problem/defect is found to be caused by the user, you will be responsible for the costs of labor and parts associated with repair/replacement. If the product is found to have been tampered with, misused, abused, or repair has been attempted by a third party, this warranty is void and declared invalid. This warranty only covers service by Advatronix® service personnel at the Advatronix® service center. Advatronix® will not be responsible for third-party service or repair. Advatronix® is not responsible for any damages resulting from our service, including but not limited to lost data. Advatronix® will honor the warranty within 365 days the order is received by Advatronix® and only upon Advatronix® receipt of the full payment for the item to be warranted.
Limited Product Warranty for Customers outside Continental United States
The standard warranty stated above applies to Advatronix®-branded products shipped outside of the continental United States providing that the customer is responsible for payment of all charges incurred in shipping, importing/exporting, receiving replacement parts and products and for arranging and paying for shipment of any defective parts back to Advatronix®. Customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, and any and all additional associated tax or charge.
Customer Responsibilities Related to Warranty & Service
The following details your responsibilities related to this warranty, in addition to those detailed in this document and the License Agreement. The following is not a comprehensive list of your responsibilities and does not limit any responsibilities detailed in the License Agreement, other documents, on www.Advatronix®.com, or elsewhere.
- Before contacting Advatronix® with the problem you are having with the product, you are required to perform the relevant troubleshooting steps detailed in the user’s guide to attempt to resolve the issue.
- You are responsible for providing Advatronix® with any and all information we request relating to your system, such as model number, customer number, information about your system and the problem you are experiencing, etc.
- You are required to contact Advatronix® with detailed information about the problem you are having with the product. Advatronix® will, at its sole discretion, provide you with troubleshooting assistance or an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number associated with your product for shipping to the service center.
- Advatronix® may require you to perform troubleshooting steps before shipping the product in for service. An individual competent in the operation of servers must be available to be guided through such steps via phone or email by Advatronix® technical support.
- You may be responsible for providing Advatronix® with proof of purchase/payment before shipping the product in for service.
- You are responsible for paying all shipping and freight costs and shipping the product to a service center.
Disclaimer of Warrantied
There are no warranties for software, services, or non-Advatronix® branded products. Furthermore, Advatronix® makes no warranties, express or implied, except those stated in this document.
Under the Limited Warranty, you are responsible for shipping the product to Advatronix® service center, including all associated costs. You are responsible for insuring any product shipped or returned to the service center, and you assume risk of loss or damage during shipping. Return shipping will be included in the fee detailed below.
A one-time $100 will be paid to Advatronix®, which will cover processing and return shipping. Additional fees and payment may be required. In the event the damage/fault to be fixed is found not to be covered by this warranty, you will be responsible for all fees and charges associated with repair/replacing the faulty components, including but not limited to replacement parts and labor.
Limitation of Liability
If the product fails to function as warranted above, Advatronix® responsibility will not exceed the price paid and will be expressly limited to the lesser of the price paid for the product or the cost of repair or replacement of component(s) that malfunctioned in conditions of normal use. Except as indicated above, Advatronix® will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the product or failure of the product to perform. Furthermore, Advatronix® limitation of liability will extend to the Limitation of Liability section detailed in the License Agreement associated with the product. In the case where information in this document and the License Agreement conflict, the License Agreement will takes precedent.
All software provided with the product is provided “as-is” and Advatronix® hereby disclaims any and all warranties, directly or indirectly express or implied, including warranties of title or non-infringement, duties, conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or lack of viruses.
License & Product Agreement
You agree to abide by any and all associated license and product agreements set forth by Advatronix®, including agreements in this document, in the License Agreement, and on www.Advatronix®.com. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Advatronix® be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage including but not limited to loss of profits or proprietary/confidential or other information, for business interruption, for personal injury or loss of privacy resulting from or related to the use or misuse of the software or hardware product, even if Advatronix® has been previously advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions/states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of such warranties, so certain disclaimers and limitations detailed in this document may not apply to you.
